BWB, did you purchase your Shield here in Vegas, and if so, may I ask where you got it? I was planning a stop at The Gun Store on Trop tomorrow, but it'd be good to have a 'plan B' just in case they are out of stock there. Also, are you by chance familiar with an outfit called Paladin Security Solutions? They run training courses here and seem to be pretty well organized. I might look into them as well for some training and my CCW class when the time comes.

Hello Bill, and welcome from Missouri to this great forum - good folks and LOTS of info here! I also am interested in the Shield, but as others have noted they are hard to find! I opted for a Taurus PT709 Slim in the meantime - love it also.
