    Unhappy Hello my fellow responsible citizens, Clarksburg West Virginia is where i reside.

    Hello everyone my name is Shawn, I am 25 years old and am a single father that lives in Clarksburg West Virginia. On October 5th I finally received my C.W.P. after a year of taking the training course and some more extensive weapons training classes in between. My 3 year old son and I spend most of our time outdoors doing everything from nature hikes to walking the dog at the park. In the past year our small town of Clarksburg has had a recent spike in violence and drug trafficking. This is due to the flooding of heroin and a new drug that you have probably heard of by now from reading about the zombie Like affects it has on peoples brain, bath salts. As if you hadn't already guessed it. So given these recent circumstances I feel as a responsible citizen / father the need to defend my cub and myself from bodily harm is more of a nessecity than anything else. Especially since my son and I walk to most of our destinations and sometimes undesirable neighborhoods must be traveled. So there's me and my info in a nutshell, and I am looking forward to gaining information from other persons experiences as well as sharing my own. Oh and I forgot to mention that I am currently carrying a sig sauer sp2022 in 40 s&w but also own a lot more firearms which will probably come up in future posts and conversations.     Welcome from Wisconsin, Shawn! Congratulations on your CCP & on your gun. I don't own one but Sigs are good from everything I've heard. Good choice on caliber, too. After using .45 cal in the Navy & the Army & 9MM before my state had a concealed carry law & then carrying a .40 cal on the job as an Armed Security Officer I got to like .40. Now that we have concealed carry it was a logical progression to use the same caliber I most recently qualified on.

    Bath salts. I was very sick not long ago and the doctor said bath salts were good to help me relax. I sent my son to the store with a list of things for me, what a great kid ( age 25 lol ) he is. He calls me on the cell and says, "hey mom what on earth you want bath salts for" lol. I said what do you think i want them for lol I am going to put them in my bath. He said oh ok lol, just didn't want you to do the zombie thing.
