Hello from Lubbock,TX
I have been perusing this website for several hours and am greatly impressed. The high level of maturity and manners are a definite drawing card to this website.
I am a State Game Warden, work security for a chain of supermarkets, and build custom 1911's. At 57 years of age, I've been around the block a time or two and realize that I can learn from everyone here. I have never lost my love of learning so this website is really interesting for me. I grew up along the Mexican border, during some rough times, and began carrying at about age 14. The atmosphere back then/there demanded it ,and still does, and carrying was as accepted as putting on your boots, leggin's and blue jean jacket every day.
I don't believe a person could ever own enough guns. I love and live the gun culture. I have a wife and two daughters that all outshoot me pretty regular, so I have to really be on my toes.
Thanks to the Moderators for putting and keeping this site together and running it so well. I know I am going to enjoy my time and meet and learn from a lot of good folks here.
Andy
P.S. What are all those little critters on the right side of the page?

Welcome from Middle Tennessee!
I travelled through Lubbock on the way to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico several years back, and I really liked it. I was also stationed at Fort Hood years ago...Texas is one big state!
