    The 1st Amendment says that Congress can't make any laws restricting freedom of speech, press, or assembly....and yet we have laws requiring protest permits, criminalizing verbal threats, etc etc.

    Hey folks - go easy on the new guy. NYC can use all the gun owners they can get.

    OP - is there anywhere within NYC for you to shoot that rifle? Or do you need to take a trip out of the city?
    The more good folks carry guns, the fewer shots the crazies can get off.
