My sister is about your age, also has carpel tunnel, and is determined to get an S&W airweight .38, because that's what her friend has. She doesn't intend to carry it, so I'm trying to talk her into a .38 in a larger frame. The advice of trying out as many as you can before deciding, is about as good as it gets.
Remember to post a pic when you get it! Welcome aboard!

A real man loves his wife, and places his family as the most important thing in life. Nothing has brought me more peace and content in life than simply being a good husband and father.

Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Hello, Lou, and welcome from Missouri to this great forum. Good folks and LOTS of info here. I hope your new weapon works well for you. I've been squeezing a tennis ball with both hands during TV commercials to strengthen the muscles...maybe that would help you also. Blessings to you!
