Welcome from Wisconsin, Sigma! The Sigma is a good gun regardless what some people say about it. I have the 40VE & it's quite good. Shoots every time I want it to, it's accurate, easy on the pocketbook & holds up well. There are those who don't like the trigger which is easy to fix but I like mine just the way it is. You can help the trigger along by dry firing it a couple hundred times (plus actually shooting it). That smoothed mine out & probably took a couple of pounds or so off of the pull. Would I prefer a Glock 23? Yep, I just couldn't afford one. I made the mistake of giving my G23 to my son before we had a CC law in WI & am not cheap enough to ask him for it.

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

I love my sigma! Yes ive had some time behind a g19, HK USP, a couple of kimbers, etc.. All much higher end and quality handguns but budgets are what they are. My 9mm sigma has flawlessly shot everything ive put through it with acceptable accuracy (more accurate than me) and 0 feed or ejection issues. The trigger is heavy but ive had a good amount of time with DA revolvers so it doesnt bother me too much. I know its going to be a reliable kick around handgun for many years to come. I mean they did copy the glock so closely there was a lawsuit after all
