    Welcome aboard.

By all means, consider posting a discussion about firearms and use-of-force laws in the U.K. I'm sure it would be a fascinating look at what's going on, for the vast majority of folks here on DC are from the land across the pond.

Glad to have you, here, E.

Welcome to the forum from S.E. Michigan. What is the distinction between English and British?

    Welcome.

My understanding is that in England you can only own long guns? Do they have to be registered?

No offense, but with all the cameras everywhere, restrictions on liberty, monitoring of activities and speech, and political correctness, you guys appear to be living in George Orwell's 1984.
