Welcome to the site. Just a note -- in the Commonwealth, it's called a Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) which specifically allows handguns, not 'weapons' to be concealed. It's a fairly easy process to obtain a CHP, assuming that you meet all of the requirements and have none of the restrictions.

Hahaha I was wondering if I would get any comments on that....main reason for that username is it's been my nickname in my home town since middle school. A more direct answer, if you were looking for it, is that my ponytail gets me accused of being one of those "long haired freaky people", but I don't quite resemble sasquatch. thanks for the correction in terms; I've already researched it pretty thoroughly, including checking statues and precedents on the use of deadly force (which in itself has been a lot of food for thought) in our commonwealth, and I have the form saved on my computer waiting for my printer to decide to work again...
