Hello from B.C. Canada
Hi all, I am a finishing carpenter from B.C. Canada. Glad to have found this forum! I own a few rifles that I've had for ? close to 50 years. My wife and I recently obtained our restricted licences (handgun) so we're looking forward to getting to the range to do some shooting. We are currently shopping for our first handgun, thinking right now that a 1911 .22 long rifle might be a good way to start.

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

I didn't realize you have to first get permission to own a firearm in NYC. Doesn't surprise me though, since you don't even have permission to purchase more than 16 ounces of soda.
