    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Welcome,I would suggest that you start by dry firing the weapon, unload the weapon and leave all ammo and mags in one room then take the cleared weapon into another room, double check thet there is no round in barrel and magwell is empty, release slide, pick a spot on the wall and squeeze trigger, pull slide back enough to reset trigger and align sights squeeze trigger,if the barrel doesn't move then you are doing it right ,if your pulling sights off the target that will translate into live fire and your target will look like the cheese from switzerland. When first firing live ammo take your time and shoot each round for accuracy,as your skill level increases so will your speed.
