Hello from Arkansas
New member here but, I have been carrying concealed for almost 30 years while living in five different states. I have had a CCW in Alabama (very easy, just pay the sheriff), Vermont (Permitt not required, just get a drivers license), Indiana (background check but, you better not have an automatic knife), Louisiana, (take a course and get a permit). And now Arkansas (take a course, pay the state and get a permit good for five years). I do not mind jumping through the hoops at all. I just wish someone could make the holster I want for all the firearms I want to carry. At this point I am very close to buying the equipment and making my own holsters. I, like a lot of people I know, have a box full of holsters that look better then they work.
Ok, Rant mode off. I am looking forward to meeting you all and learning from the masters.
Thank you for letting me join.

Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Welcome from Wisconsin! I hear what you 're saying about holsters. I have one of them, a Blackhawk I think, that I just couldn't get to feel right. I was playing with the thing one day & tried appendix carry cross draw & man! That felt great! Draws fast & easy. I don't use it every time but with heavier outdoor clothing I think that's what I'll use more. I'll have to start experimenting with some of the others that I don't use much.
