    Roll tide!!

    Greetings from the new guy from Alabama, presently working in the big kitty litter box known as Afghanistan.
    I'm a long time multiple-type weapons owner,shooter and carrier hoping to learn some new tricks, gain some more knowledge and "meet" some like minded folks.
    I have a voracious appetite for knowledge and insight from experienced people, so I will spend the majority of my time here lurking,reading and soaking up any and all information possible and contributing only when I have something relevant,useful or factual to say.

    Hi guys...Thanks for the welcome.

    I'm a Tide fan but I'm not one of those die-hard obnoxious ones that wears blinders or wants to fight over a ball team....I can take all the digs and ribbing you got and not get butt-hurt over it.....so flame away!!

    Pistology: I'm sitting here staring at the stupid Game Trax watching the colored lines go back and forth due to lack of real TV coverage...this is the one game I really wanted to watch to see what LSU team shows up. I never made it through Rucker while on active duty, but I have been there a number of times for social occasions. My wife is from LA (Lower Alabama) and we have a lot of friends in that area.
    If all works out as planned, I will be home the day before Thanksgiving, a short R&R then back here for a "wonderful" Afghanistan winter..
