    Ruger LCP question

Hey all, new here, name is Tom and I am 42 and a backpacker looking to purchase something light, compact and reliable which has lead me to my choice of the LCP but has left me confused
Whats the opinion of the two different laser sights on the LCP?
Which is more rugged, usable, viewable to my old eyes, reliable?
Crimson trace seems to be newer but my local shop has both for around the same price and he cant say which is "better"

Crimson Trace is much better. Turns on just by gripping the pistol. The lasermax requires you to turn the laser on with your index finger. In a high stress situation, you'll want the crimson trace.

Crimson Trace on mine - wouldn't leave home without it. The CT that is if I'm carrying the LCP. Nowadays it's usually a .45

Welcome from WI! Get the LCP! It is a great, small gun. I don't carry mine much anymore after getting my Glock, but it was a great carry gun. I didn't have a laser on mine, but if you can get the CT and Lasermax for the same price and want a laser, get the CT.

Just got an LCP myself with the CT laser. Looked at both lasers but really did not like fooling with the business end of a loaded gun to turn the laser on. CT all the way!
