Crimson Trace is much better. Turns on just by gripping the pistol. The lasermax requires you to turn the laser on with your index finger. In a high stress situation, you'll want the crimson trace.

Welcome from WI! Get the LCP! It is a great, small gun. I don't carry mine much anymore after getting my Glock, but it was a great carry gun. I didn't have a laser on mine, but if you can get the CT and Lasermax for the same price and want a laser, get the CT.

Just got an LCP myself with the CT laser. Looked at both lasers but really did not like fooling with the business end of a loaded gun to turn the laser on. CT all the way!
