    Greetings from Washington State

    Hello, all. I'm rather new to shooting and looking forward to continuing my education and expanding my knowledge of defensive and survivalist (i.e. hunting) firearms. I'm a search and rescue volunteer and have a healthy (not paranoia-based) attitude toward survival and preparedness, lol.

    I'm still waiting for my CPL (they sure use all of that 30 days) though WA is an open carry state. I usually do not open carry as I want my weapon and it's use to be done on my terms if possible and I feel that if other's can easily see my weapon that I might lose some tactical advantages. Also, my style of clothing is more conducive to concealed carry and comfort is everything.

    Anyway, I've been lurking for a while and am looking forward to be a more active member of the community. :)
