Ello from Charleston county South Carolina
Been wanting to find a board on guns I can call home :) I hope this is it! I have like 2 local buddies I usually hit the range up with. I prefer the public ranges over private as I'm not that rich to afford the $10+ per visit just to waste my own ammo. I know they're probably alot better and more structured on safety, my only experience with private payed ranges has been very negative. And NO I wasn't breaking any rules. Level of service was poor. So I just like public ranges. I will try to get on at least once every week if not more when my time allows it. I don't mind making friends but I do NOT enjoy arguing over brands, caliber, and shooting style. I strongly believe everyone has their own style, preference and way they feel comfortable. Look forward to a nice conversation every now and then with everyone! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Welcome from over in Florence, SC...Happy Turkey Day right back at ya!!!
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Welcome! .45 is better than 9mm and Sigs are the best guns.
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Welcome to the forum!
Weaver stance is better than isoceles, or is it the other way around? I can never remember.
Get ready, most of what looks like arguments on this forum is just a lot of Type A people with strong opinions. Ain't life grand!

Well then, we can dispense with all the talk about Glocks being bricks, SIGs being best, H&K's being too expensive for human consumption, .45ACP being bigger (therefore better) than XYZ ... yadda, yadda, yadda.
