123 What is your on duty carry?
I have tried the pf9 did not like it, felt it was not reliable enough for EDC went with a J frame revolver for backup and have never looked back.

As a BUG it will serve your purpose.

A Kahr CW9 will run on avg. $300-400.,as evidenced by GB, Semi Auto Pistols for Sale - Buy Semi Auto Pistols at GunBroker.com

The Kel Tec will run you perhaps $75 less on average.

Ruger will run about the same as the Kahr.

GLOCK 23 is your answer. Same size as the GLOCK 19 and certainly something you can carry all day concealed. Plus same operation and feel of your duty weapon.

Welcome from Nj. I think you will enjoy your time spent here. I have gained lots of knowledge here.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt

    Welcome from Wisconsin!

I, too, can recommend the Glock 23. If that's a little too big & too rich for your purposes - try to test fire an M&P Shield. They're hard to find but put one on order if you like it. They come in 9MM or .40 cal. About $300. I shot one the other day in .40 cal & it's a honey. If I could afford it I'd buy one but unfortunately I'm on a one gun budget & I don't want to give up what I have.
