Texan
Hello from Texas! My name is Mike Coker. I've been hunting and fishing all my life and love the outdoors. My day job is VP of a software company but my passion is doing anything outdoors - shooting, hunting, fly fishing. Being from Texas, I absolutely love fly fishing in the Rocky Mountains.
One cool fact. Texas just improved their CHL licensing rules and I was just able to renew online and receive a 10 year license without having to repeat class or get new photos/prints. Sweet!
Sticking to pistols, I own Sig, Glock, S&W, Taurus, Springfield, HK, Colt, High Standard, and Browning.
Holsters: Crossbreed, Comp-TAC, Desantis, Uncle Mike, Tucker, Gould, Fobus, probably a few others.
Looking forward to participating....

Welcome Mike, from another Texan. When did they change that CHL renewal rule? Within the last couple of months?

Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Welcome from Fort Worth, Texas.
Thanks for the info on the online renewal...10 years...that's cool. Ill have to check that out. Mine is not due for renewal for a while but I might want to renew early before they change it back to 5 years. Thanks mcoker.
Update: I went to the website and logged in and it doesn't even give me the option to renew.
