Welcome BillB, Good to have another Portlander here on the forum. Carrying concealed is great here. Oregon is a good state for gun owners. Someday we'll recognize Washington carry permits and they will reciprocate, but for now you'll need a Washington license to carry there. (Or a Utah carry permit - I'm told they are recognized just about anywhere). If you do carry in Washington, be sure to read up on their rules for concealed carry. I know that you can't carry into a bar there. In Oregon you can.
Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
