    Hello from the "shall issue" state of Oregon

    I carried in WA for 10 years prior to moving to Oregon. Just recently completed the mandatory training (even learned a thing or 2!) and have an appointment with the Sheriff on 12/11 to get my CHL. Looking forward to joining the ranks of responsible citizens here in Oregon soon.

    Thanks. I lived in Clarkston for 3 years back in the early 90s when MI was a "may issue" state. There was no way in hell that the Sheriff of Oakland Co would issue a CCW back then. Glad to hear things have changed.
