    I used to shoot SASS at Brierfield with the Alabama Rangers, and we used to hang out at the 1890's Emporium in Helena.

    try Alabama Rangers, even if you are not interested in SASS, there will probably be several members that can direct you to an outdoor range. I've been gone from there for many years (10 now) so I do not know what may still be active there. I used to shoot a lot at an indoor range in Vestavia Hills, but I do not know if it still exists.
