    New Guy

Got TX CHL. Old revolver, though nice and comforting in the home, doesn't seem like it would carry well.

Ordered H&K P2000SK 9mm v.3 - it's a lifetime investment intended to be sure that lifetime isn't shorter than it should be.

Looking at Milt Sparks Versa Max II, but blew my budget on the piece, so may have to do with a commodity item for awhile. Plus, I'm in and out of the drivers seat quite a bit, not thinking I want to remove and replace several times a day. Maybe right handed OWB on the left hip? Any thoughts?

And another issue, likely somewhat specific to TX. How common is it for a business owner to post those signs/notices that CC is NOT allowed in their establishment? (Not the locations specified in the TX legal code, but those joints where the owners prefer only the criminals carry concealed weapons.)

Thanks in advance if anyone dedicates a few moments of their time to these concerns.

Welcome from Middle Tennessee (so can't help much on the Texas sign question, unfortunately).

As for inexpensive holsters, check out this link, and keep returning to it (options may change over time):
