What's Up from NC
Hello Forum,
I'm about 2 months down the path into the world of firearms and loving every minute of it so far. It's been an eye-opening experience to say the least and really made me rethink a lot of my old habits and ideas.
After several trips to the local ranges, and renting almost a dozen guns, I fell in love with a gen4 Glock 26. I just loved the way it tucked itself into the corner of my palm. Loved the ethos of Glock. It was in my price range. Done deal for me. So I ordered one last week.
My fiancee and I are going to take the CC class together soon. She has a little Taurus .380.
Anyways, that's where I am right now. Got a box of 500 rounds on the way to the house. Cannot wait for the maiden voyage with my first pistol.

Welcome from Wisconsin! You picked a fine handgun right from the start. I had a Glock 23 which I gave to my son & am planning to get another one as soon as I can afford it. We've only had a concealed carry law for about 13 months & had I known we'd have it that Glock would still be mine, lol. I have the S&W Sigma 40VE which is a Glock 23 clone. It's all I could afford when I got my license.

Welcome and don't forget to write down any questions on the laws governing the use of deadly force and concealed carry that you may have prior to taking the CHP class. It's a TON of legal info given in the class and it's easy to forget questions you may have had prior to the class if you don't write them down. Good luck and feel free to ask any and all questions!
Be safe and have fun.

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Welcome from Central NC.
You won't be disappointed in the Glocks time tested, rugged, simple guns.
I'm also 'new' the hand gun club only getting my CCW permit back in May.
A G27 was my first Glock and the G26 was my third. I've amassed 6 hand guns since LOL
It's definitely a hobby you can put some money into.
