Welcome the the forum. I joined a year or so ago and have found this site to be very useful. Good to see you're going to take a gun safety course. I've taken several including the one required to get my LTC, a hunter safety course (required in Mass to get a hunting license) and have become an NRA certified range safety officer for my gun club. I learned something new and valuable in every course and there are a few more I intend to take for personal defense and tactical shooting.

You did 3 great things ... right off the top, well...... 4.

    * Bought a decent good gun in the XD
    * Taking shooting / gun classes...
    * Moved to Arizona and reclaimed your freedom and liberties
    * And, you must have married a good woman , who wants to learn and go to class as well........ sounds like a definite keeper. Lucky man.

Welcome from Wisconsin! Remember - the only dumb question is the one that goes unasked. Except maybe "which end do the bullets come out? Should I give the trigger a yank & find out for myself?" lol.

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Alright, I can tell this is a good forum.

No one has ripped me for buying the Raven Arms .25 And no, I'm not a seventies pimp. (oh man, no :chuckle: icon!)
I just liked the fact that I can slip it into a front pocket and not worry about it.

Don't forget that it's very important to get a concealed carry badge, lol. That might go good with your .25 cal. There. I got a razz in about your .25, lol. I hate to see a new member disappointed.
