Hello from the used-to-be furniture capital of the world!
I hail from Thomasville, NC. I've been a guest on this forum for a while now and decided to join. You have a lot of interesting discussions and a wealth of information here. I'm a follower of Jesus and a proud father of a 9 yr old princess. She loves to shoot and is a sharpshooter with her pink Crossman BB gun. I've had my concealed carry license for a few months now. My primary carry piece is the Ruger LCP. Have a great night!

Welcome (from Massachusetts). I think you'll continue to fine plentiful good advice and commentary here. To the point of your daughter, I have two daughters who are now in their twenties that I taught to shoot safely and accurately since they were young. What I've observed in teaching both boys and girls to shoot, is that boys have much more interest and enthusiasm for guns but girls are much more accurate in their shooting. Girls take direction better, seem to have better eye acuity, and are much more patient shooters. I hope your daughter continues her interest.

Never challenge an old man, because if you lose, you’ve lost to an old man, and if you win, so what?

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Welcome from used to be Demi capital of the world just up the road. Its all gone overseas now, just like Cannon Mills just below you. When they closed a few years back the let go over 6 thousand workers in 30 days.
Some people will start trouble and then try to make it look like its your fault....

Thanks for the welcome. Thomasville isn't what it used to be since they've shipped most of the furniture work over seas.
