Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
Welcome from Wisconsin> sorry I don't have the eotech, I have the Acog and aimpoints. I have 100 yard zeros on all and I know all of the come ups for 200,300,400,500 and 600 yards with my ammo. the eotech should be very easy to zero at whatever distance you want.
If you have a bench at your range. Set the rifle up in a rest, remove the bolt and carrier and look thru the barrel while in the rest, then without moving the "rig" look thru the site and see where it is. make your adjustments and recheck. Now reassemble the bolt, and carrier, load a round and shoot. you will be on paper and very close. Couple more shots you will be right on!
