New Guy that needs some help.
Hello, everyone. I just recently joined this forum to try and get some help with my AR-15 I bought. I've got it mostly how I want it except I need a little help with the optics. I bought a EOTech 512 HWS and am thinking about purchasing a 3x magnifier from EOTech. The part that I need help with is zeroing the magnifier and sight together. Does anybody have a video or how to on how to zero it for about 200 yards. Thanks for all the help.

Welcome. I will defer to others (like John) on your question.
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Zero it at 25 yards, and then confirm at 200.
You don't need the zero the magnifier, all that it does it magnify, there is not reticle or adjustments with a magnifier. So, you just need the zero the optic itself.

Bingo! There's your answer. Match the POA/POI between the optic & the rifle. Magnifier just makes everything...BIGGER.

Welcome from Michigan.
And, as already stated, no zeroing of mag. Easy enough to work your way out from 25 yds.
Trick is learning how to co-witness all those with some BUIS.
