Re: Want to carry concealed but need advice
Are you sure that ankle carry is the only method that will work? The Ruger LCP is small and lightweight. As far as accuracy, every shooter is different. The lack of decent sights make acquiring a target difficult. However, in a point and shoot situation, I doubt you will be using the sights.

The Smith & Wesson Airweight 638 ( .38 special or "plus P" ) in an anke holster. very light and shoots great, with little recoil.

Hi and welcome from central FL!
I can't offer any suggestions regarding ankle carry as I haven't done it. A friend of mine carries a Glock 26 (27?) that way but it's her BUG not her primary. I do agree that on body is better than in a purse, especially at work. Personally I carry an XDsc IWB so it's bigger than what you're looking for. I used to carry an LC9 and that baby was easy to dress around!

I bet flared pants would work well for this. I recommend a .38 Special J-frame or equivalent revolver, a Kahr PM9, or a Ruger LCP for ankle carry if that's what you want to do.
