Hello from south MS
My name is Jack. I am a 48yo male. I used different weapons throughout my military career but have not owned a personal gun since retiring until now. I just recently got my carry permit after an incident where I was out gunned- he had one and I didn't. Now I carry an LC9 at all times and have a 40 cal Taurus by my bed. Nothing like a little wake up call to get you motivated.
Found this forum to be the best when researching about what to carry. A lot of knowledge on here.

Welcome Jack from SE Michigan.
Never challenge an old man, because if you lose, you’ve lost to an old man, and if you win, so what?

Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Hi Jack! (Never yell that on a plane).
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Freedom doesn't come free. It is bought and paid for by the lives and blood of our men and women in uniform.
