Hello! Welcome from Southeast Kansas!
Cresap, although I did take PPOTH over at 340 Defense in WV. I also want to check out the Monocacy Pistol Club, now that I've had some training in drawing and shooting, it would be good to have a range that allows that (no holstered guns at Cresap).
Of course, the members of the club will want to make sure I'm OK people, too. I have been trying to get by for a bowling pin shoot for a few months, but haven't gotten by for one reason or another . . . yet.

When you accept mediocrity you sow the seeds for future failure.
One should never confuse good fortune with good training.

Welcome! Used to fly in and out of the airport there, a couple of decades ago................ ouch.
Now that Il has been slapped, we are awaiting the call on the current situation in MD. Good luck. MD is run by idiots (I am not implying that the citizens of MD are idiots, just the Majority that the citizens in MD voted for). Just sayin!

Thanks for all the welcomes! I know there are folks that have it worse than Maryland, but not that many. As pointed out, we continue to elect the idiots that perpetuate Maryland's anti-gun culture -- not with my vote, I hasten to add. Our county just lost a great representative, Roscoe Bartlett to a purely evil gerrymandering of districts by the Democrats in power in the State house, the legislature, and (by appointments) the judiciary. The Second Amendment had no better friend than Roscoe, and he wiill be sorely missed.
That the 4th Circuit Court has a case that has so far had Maryland's retrictions on CCW liscensing held unconstitutional in a lower court (thank you, Judge Legg) is really amazing. For a few brief moments iin August, hundreds (some say thousands), yours truly ixncluded, were preparing to inundate the MD State Police with permit applications. Then the stay was granted by the 4th, and Maryland was back in Limbo, waiting for a decision or a handoff to SCOTUS.
Personally, I continued my training program and will pursue a Florida OOS CCW, and carry on my property only until such time as I may legally carry concealed in my home state. Forty odd "shall" and "may issue" states, and my sweet parents chose to move from Pennsylvania to Maryland. I have a lot of friends who have moved the other direction, but here I am, and I'll support MSI (Maryland Shall Issue) and hope for the best.
