Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

I must say that I am impressed with your enthusiasm and the fact that you don't hold a grudge. Lots of people would have gotten mad and gone off in a huff never to return. I'm sure the information you got wasn't what you wanted to hear at the time but it was in your best interest. You did as instructed and you are better off for it. Now enjoy it.
Welcome back! No better way to learn how something works than to take it apart and put it back together again.
