Welcome aboard. Hard to go wrong with an M&P or a Glock. I have never had a Kahr, but a lot of folks like them.
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Never challenge an old man, because if you lose, you’ve lost to an old man, and if you win, so what?
Welcome from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I like your choice of sidearms, all will serve you well if you learn them well, maintain them well, and train, train, train with them. The GLOCK is my favorite of the three you named, but that's just an experienced opinion. Still own a 22, which is the largest of that family, and carried it and the 27 for many years working the southwest border. Again, welcome. Be safe.

Welcome from Wisconsin! I had a Glock 23 - loved it. Gave it to my son before WI had a CC law. Now I'm waiting for a M&P40C. All I've researched & heard about it made me go that route. Besides it was the only one between M&P & Glock where I got a good deal on. Meanwhile I'm carrying a S&W Sigma 40VE, a Glock 23 clone. I know absolutely nothing about Kahr.
