Hi from Florida
New member here. Been reading it all day. Good stuff here.
Retired Navy Chief Petty Officer 26 years. Have never owned a gun personally but I will soon. In the navy I used all kinds of weapons.
While in the desert I competed with 300 other shooters and was the only one to get perfect scores with both 9mm and M16
My son is going through the police academy and just bought a Glock. Gonna see if he can get me one. Good deal through the school.

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
