    newbie looking for a holster

Just joined here today. Came across the site in my search for a quality and very concealable holster for a Springfield xdm .45 with a 3.8 in. barrell. Any suggestions and other info is greatly appreciated.

    Welcome.

I'm a fan of Old Faithful holsters and they make one for the XDM with a 3.8" barrell.

Welcome to the forum from SW Ohio. Besides the holster, be sure to get a good gunbelt! The belt is as important as the holster. There are a number of quality makers out there. I personally like Galco's holster and belts. Wilderness also makes good belts.

Crossbreed holsters (4 so far) and a Crossbreed belt. Wouldn't wear anything else.

    Welcome to the forum!

I'm surprised there's only one Crossbreed suggestion so far! They seem to be the holster most recommended.

I bought a SHTF Gear Ace holster for my Ruger SR9 and love it! It's pretty much the same thing as the Crossbreed Supertuck; however, it ships faster and the owner is active duty military. The holster arrived within a week and is very comfortable.

If you're looking for an OWB holster, or leather in general, check out the Ugly Bald Guy holsters. My wife ordered me a Bonneville for Christmas (it was a late gift idea and hasn't come yet) and I can't wait to strap it on! He has a few very nice looking IWB holsters as well... I'll most likely be ordering a Becker for my Smith and Wesson 642.

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
