    Hi from the Bluegrass state!

    Happy New Year from Kentucky! I am completely new to guns and to shooting. I'm kinda competitive, so I'm anxious to be good at it.

    Seems a get em before you can't get em anymore situation... not sure, but would rather be safe than sorry. I'm proud to say I was one of those 2.8 million background checks perfomed in December! Picked up a beautiful Sig Sauer P238 as my first gun- shoots great, love the feel! Love taking it apart, putting it back together, love racking it, loading it, shooting it, just love! Signed up for my CCDW training class this morning. End of this month, I'll be holster shopping.

    Only wish I had some tombs to raid so I could justify a couple thigh holsters and a matching pair of Heckler and Kochs... ;)
