    Another new guy from Florida

    My wife and I reccently bought our retirement home (both of us still work but this is IT; no more northern winters!) and are current, legitiment FL residents and intend on getting our CCW. Besides the longarms, I have a Kahr CW9 on the way as my starter pistol and we're looking for a S&W 638 for her. I've been reading (short-time lurker) what I can and this forum seems to be one of the more "rounded" of the bunch. I'll be asking a lot of (dumb) questions when we begin handling and start going to the range. Now, if only I can find some range and carry ammo... Darned shelves are bare at the LGS's as well as the on-line places.

    Anyway, looking forward to learning what we can so we're not anchors any longer than necessary.
