New Member from Lafayette, LA
Hello all, I'm from Lafayette, LA in the heart of Cajun Country and have lived here all my life. I've been around firearms and shooting all my life and enjoy all types of firearms. I am a CCW holder and carry my Sig Sauer SP2022 daily where ever I go. I am a member of the NRA and deeply believe in the 2nd Amendment. I am a huge supporter of our Armed Forces and have a huge respect for the Soldiers who fight everyday to keep us free.
I have been a lurker here for quite some time and really enjoy all of the discussions that you guys have here. I hope to make some really great friends here and contribute to the fight that we as gun owners find ourselves in the middle of right now.

Hello and welcome! Like your choice of carry gun. I had a 2022, but sold it to my oldest brother. I have to hand it to you, that is one big gun to carry around everyday, but shoots like a dream!
I would rather die on my feet, than to live on my knees.

Welcome. I also have an SP2022 and love it. Best value out there.
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Well, I tell ya, I love my 2022, it's in .40 and the trigger pull is unbelievably smooth and it's very accurate! It's a great firearm and I have no issues when carrying it all day. I carry it in an Oldfaithful IWB. It's very comfortable and conceals very easily.

Welcome! I lived in Louisiana half a lifetime ago and worked in BR and a bit in Lafayette. I loved it: great music (I miss the chanka chank) friendly people, beautiful area and great food. I also remember a candlelight Christmas service with the choir they used to have (and maybe still do) at the cathedral there (St. John's, was it?). For a couple years when I was going to Lafayette a lot, it was the highlight of the season for me.
Great to have you here with us!
