    Lightbulb Hello From Texas - Owned Lots of Guns My Whole Life, But New to CHL

    Proud to be a member of DefensiveCarry.com. Been following the posts for some time now, and decided it was time to register. I'm retired military, owned guns and hunted my whole life, and never thought I'd see our country in such turmoil in my lifetime. I had been a member of the NRA for 25 years, but had a little disagreement with them a few years ago, decided they were no longer representing me, and quit being a member. However, I rejoined last week. So, I'm also a new NRA member. The main reason is they are a voice for us...a voice that we need right now, and they need us. As the old saying goes, "an enemy of my enemy is my friend"...so, the NRA is definitely my friend. So, let me urge everyone that is not already a member of the NRA to please join.
