WARNING Fake gun stores online

I ordered a pistol from Personal Choice Outfitters Intl (PCO, Intl). My credit card was charged. The phone has an answering machine recording "closed for Christmas, New Years, and the Shot Show". I ordered Jan 5th. No response to emails. I called Maricopa County SO and they said the address is not valid, that it would be in a "no construction zone" near their prison. The credit card company has to allow 30 days for the store to deliver the merchandise before they will allow a complaint of fraud. My money will eventually be returned and the card company will absorb the loss.

I got too lax dealing with all those honest people out there. Be careful.

I bet there would be a lot of fake ammo sites out there, too.

Fortunately, your credit card company will cover you and you should not be out any money. It will just take some time. Thanks for the warning.

Large sticks and a couple of hundred dollars in gas to drive up there, and a couple of hundred of extra dollars to pad the local Sheriffs pockets would find the punks might just be worth it.................. A google search turns up a number of references, including a response on the 1911 forum from a few customers that said they have had excellent service from them. Of course there are two others I found that says they suck, but nothing that says they're fake.

It's too bad that you had to find out the hard way. Thanks for passing on this information, though. I may spend a little more money buying things but I like to actually hold the product in my hand & talk to a real person face to face before I spend money that I'm finding scarcer & scarcer each month. I may be a neanderthal but I still prefer to use cash over my credit card. If I don't have the cash I wait until I do before buying.

Got that right, somehow, somewhere, my debit card was compromised and the bank caught it after the crook spent $250.00 on a porno site. How they got the numbers I have no idea, I only use the card at a few places each month. These scum bags sit around and come up with new methods to rob people more everyday.

Try to support your local mom and pop gun shop. You might pay a little more, but if they go out of business all we will have left are online and big box stores and you can't trust them to support you.
