Hello! My name is April and I'm new to the forum, though I've been snooping around for a week or two. I'm really new to all that is concealed carry but not so new to guns. Growing up, my step-dad always had guns, which he let me shoot once or twice. Also prior USAF, so have fired m16 and 9mm. My stupendous boyfriend has let me shoot his guns and surprised me with a Walther PPS this past Christmas. I love it, but still working on accuracy. I applied for my VA CC 106 days ago (Oct 1st), and still waiting. I do have my de facto permit and I carry daily. It would just be nice to have the official one.
I am still trying to find the best was to cc, but for now, I'm using a DeSantis iwb holster. I've ordered a DeSantis belly band, but still waiting for it to ship. Working in retail, I find it difficult to thoroughly conceal with just my work tshirts and lately it's been too warm for my sweatshirt. Contemplating an ankle holster next. Would love any advice you would like to give.
