anyone who owns a Glock 27 gen 4 please read

I just wanted to get on here and let everyone know that I am new to the site and still trying to get the hang of using this site. My name is Josh, I am from rural southeast Missouri. I am currently in the middle of training for the police force through the Missouri Sheriff's Association and will be graduating in December. I have been married to my wonderful wife since June of 2012 and the gun that I carry the most is my Glock 17 gen 4. I am wanting to get a glock 27 gen 4 but before I do I would like to get some insight from some people who have actually used the gun and own one so if you happen to have one, or just have experience with one, please let me know how it performed for you. I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks

    Welcome...

    from Central Florida!

    I can't speak about the '17' or the '27', but I do own five others: Glock-19, 21, 26, 30, and 36.
You can't go wrong with ANY Glock...keep buyin' 'em.

Since you have the 26 maybe you can answer my question. My main concern is the fact that the grip is so short and I noticed that some people's pinky finger hangs off the end of the grip. Does the shortness of the grip affect the accuracy of a second or third shot? I know the 9mm and the .40 are going to shoot different. I'm just curious about the feel of such a small gun as you are shooting it. I've never had a subcompact so I am new to this.

I put a Pierce grip extension on my Glock 26 and was good to go! Solved that little problem.

Welcome from the Northwest, the G27 is my EDC. It only stays home from time to time when I carry my G23, basically the same gun as the 27 with a few more rounds. Both the 27 and the 23 have given me 100% reliability.

Not really a problem when you add the 'pinky extender' (no extra rounds added)...it's just enough for me to add that last finger.
No problems with accuracy...I can hit the side of any barn.

Without the pinky extender, the firearm is still easy to shoot accurately.
