New from Southern IL
Been lurking for a while, but decided to register. I'm in southern IL (south of I64), which really is like another state from the Chicago area I grew up in. Pretty sure I am living in IL because God has a sense of humor, and when I left for college at 17 said I would never live in IL again. Well, here I am.
Thanks for all the great info; I'll probably be reading a whole lot more than posting for a while. Getting ready to carry here in IL (hoping at least) and trying to learn everything I can in advance.

Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
