    New From Texas

    Hello, new from Texas.

    Retired 30 year LEO...about half the time in patrol functions and the other half in Homicide.
    Also, spent a tour with the Army from '71 to '75 (United States Army Security Agency-Japan).

    I prefer large bore handguns in the .40 and .45 caliber frames. I carry full sized handguns
    as I have for the last 35 years. Rarely will anyone see me with smaller guns. I have no
    difficulty carrying full size handguns even in the summer heat and humidity of SE Texas.

    SO, hope to give some information based upon experience and hope to learn something new
    as well.

    Favorite past time is golf...which includes golfclub repair.
