    ........and justice for some

Hey all glad to be a part of this group. Good to see so many people standing up and coming together. I have a little more faith that strength in numbers may actually prevail. Just a thought.... I know the constitution protects our right to keep and bear arms, but what it doesn't say is anything about the right to have ammo available. This worries me more then anything. Is the government controlling ammo production, and why are they buying .223 ammo when they use .556? Most store shelves are full of dust where ammo boxes used to sit. People are suggesting that it is bought faster then it is being made. Think about it, these large ammo companies can produce thousand of rounds an hour, can we really be buying it faster then they can make it???? I know there is more to it then that just my thoughts. Anyway glad to be on here!

Following controversy over its purchase of around 1.2 billion bullets in the last six months alone, the Department of Homeland Security has put out a new solicitation for over 200 million more rounds of ammunition, some of which are designated to be used by snipers.

A series of new solicitations posted on the FedBizOpps website show that the DHS is looking to purchase 200 million rounds of .223 rifle ammunition over the next four years, as well as 176,000 rounds of .308 caliber 168 grain hollow point boat tail (HPBT) rounds in addition to 25,000 rounds of blank .308 caliber bullets.[/COLOR]

    Sure it does...

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

It is right there^^^^ in plain English, I put it in bold for you...

"Arms", all forms of ammunition are by definition Arms.

    Welcome from Wisconsin!

Now what in the world does DHS need with assault rifle & sniper rifle ammo? Some maybe but 200,000,000 rounds?!

I just got a an e mail from a Senior NCO buddy of mine who is still in the US Army. He said that they're building a western country style of an urban city on his post for urban warfare training. They already have a mid-eastern urban warfare "city". Special Ops has their own tucked away where eyes that have no need to know can't see it. He also mentioned the DHS & their ammo requisition. IRS also had a big shipment delivered.

Is it time to get paranoia? It's been said before & I'll say it again - I love my country but it's the government I fear.
