Hello from Colorado
Over the past year or so, my wife has gone from being uneasy about keeping guns in the house to owning her own M&P 9mm and shopping for a family membership to a gun range.
She grew up on a farm and is a heckuva shot with a rifle or 12 gauge, just never been around handguns much.
It's not even recent shootings that have changed her mindset--it's all the anti-gun media attention out there.
So now we visit gun shops and gun shows and go shooting for fun and practice together. What a turnaround!
Now to find some other influence to stop me from buying whatever new toy I want--I'm not sure how long the checkbook can handle both of us drooling over that 1911 in the display case...
Anyway, hi from northern Colorado!
