Just thought I would introduce myself some what. I do not use spell check so please excuse spelling at times. I have been shooting guns since 5yrs old with my father of course although my mother was a Marine at one time and my father was an WWII veteran. My brothers (2) and I have raised our boys the same. I 100% believe in right to carry and have been a CCW holder for long time. I was taught to hunt by my father and am an avid hunter, turkey favorite. Shot my first turkey with a Ruger Mark II taper barrel on 2nd shot, mech shot while it was running across haul road on a $100 bet. Probably couldn't do it again for $1,000. I reload, buy a good gun on a good deal when can,own several pistols and rifles but not to my wife's liking. Exercise my right to vote. Exercise my 2nd amendment. Love this great country but do not care for the way it is heading to the future. I am retired from the Mining Industry mostly Underground Coal but have also played around in Gold and Copper mines. I use the word played because I enjoyed my work and miss it, may just go back.
I am partial to Springfield pistols and do not care for a Glock. I feel Ruger should have beat out Glock for the Government contract back in the 80's when military going to a new sidearm. Like the way can send Springfields back (as I do) and get factory customized to your liking like trigger pull, over travel, combat action and such for a good price and Very good work. I am looking into getting a new CCW and am leaning toward a Sig p250 subcompact, thought I would give them a go at it. Really like fact of several combinations although can do it with a lot of brands Sig makes it cheaper and easier.
Any and all comments on this are appreciated and welcome.

Never look down on anybody, unless you're helping them up.
Lived in Harrogate,TN growing up it is next to Comberland Gap,TN,KY,VA where the three meet. Tennessee is a great state with Very good hunting and fishing. Thanks for welcome
Thanks for welcome Archer51. I also live in Virginia in Gainesville to be exact I moved there from Southwest Virginia, little town called Big Stone Gap. I sure miss the freedom of a very rural and open area, the mountains. Wifey says Gainesville will be good for me though but I do miss my old hunting, fishing and shooting spots. Nothing like those abandoned strip mines for shooting.
Thanks for the welcome
