Just got my CCW about a month back. I actually got it in about 3 weeks. A lot shorter than expected. I have a couple of sprinfield XD's (.40 & .45), rossi .38, and I just got a para slim hawg. I have to say....the slim hawg is highly accurate for a compact 1911. I didn't think I would like it better than my XD .40, but the more I handle it, the more I love it. Perfect for concealment, extremely reliable right out of the box, and the slim design sets this one apart from the warthog's. Plus it's single stack, so I feel if my life depended on it, this would get the job done without questioning. I'd like to hear other's thoughts on the slim hawg if you own one, have shot one, or have another sub-compact 1911 your proud of. I almost went for the springfield sub 1911, but I already have two XD's, plus I couldn't find one anywhere!
