Intro-

50+, former jarhead, hunt, fish, camp, shot competitively (until severe right shoulder injury) married to a former liberal (not her fault, too much time around academia) who will be taking her CCW training in the spring, both work for a state university, I do not hide my conservatism which makes for some fun times at university social functions, having lived in Indiana and Iowa before moving to Missouri I have carried for over 25 years, enjoy REAL beer (not that lite crap) good 10 year old bourbon, hand rolled cigars, drive nothing but FORDs and I really hate working at the university during warm weather:P

I also had the distinct pleasure of working for a while surrounded by the Ultra-Lib-Left - well, maybe surrounded isn\'t a strong enough word.
Let\'s try Engulfed, Suffocated, and Supersaturated by Extreme Liberalism.
Some were actually really nice people but their respective thought processes were really skewed in a direction totally opposite of Reality.
I used to try to talk about \"The Weather\" a lot (thinking that was a safe topic) but it usually led to Global Warming & how we are totally destroying the planet.
