Hi everyone, I would have said from the Wolverine state, but due to the day this is falling on I didn't think that was such a great idea. Very new to the carry scene, just got my letter from the Wayne County Clerk stating I can pick up my permit on Monday. I've been picking up some holsters and mag pouches to get ready, still hunting up a good belt, didn't really expect the permit so soon. It was 35 days from the date I applied to the day of the letter. Looking forward to learning alot of technique and safe ways of carrying and keeping aware of my surroundings. Thanks for such a great and important site!!
Gotta add a GO BLUE though!

Welcome and congratulations on the permit. I grew up in a northern suburb of Detroit, but am enjoying the Florida sun now that I'm retired.
