Different hurdle in waiting period.
My application for chl went to DPS first and due to being bipolar it then went to the Medical Advisory Board. I found out that they approved me for a chl and I suppose my application went back to DPS. Does anyone have any idea how long it will be to be completed. I don't have anything for them to question in background check or fingerprints. Just wondering.

Welcome from Wisconsin! Every state has a different system for getting concealed carry permits & a different length of time to receive them. Without knowing what state you're in you won't get any of your neighbors to give you any information.

Welcome from PA. Glad you found us. We need to know which state you are from because each state is different. Happy shooting.

Welcome from Colorado! Keep us in the loop. As has already been asked, what state are you in and did you have to disclose your diagnosis on your CHL application? Or was it 'discovered' during the background check process?
