Greetings from the grand city of Grand Prairie in the Great State of Texas! I just joined the forum and look forward to learning more about concealed carry. I'm an experienced shooter by training in the U.S. Marine Corps, but I've been just a recreational shooter since leaving active duty in 1993. After *thinking* too long, I'm now committed to get my permit and am finally taking action. Planning to participate in IDPA. Just purchased SA XD9 sub-compact and additional equipment. Have other handguns but wanted something smaller for CCW. NRA Life Member. Texas State Rifle Association member.
